Accounts Assistant / Sales Lodger

This is an excellent career opportunity for a highly motivated and methodical individual to work as part of an efficient and professional team providing excellent levels of service to both internal and external customers. The successful candidate will report directly to the Company Accountant.
Main responsibilities and accountabilities:
- · Credit control & follow up customers to ensure payment is made in line with our terms;
- Resolving of sales invoice queries & issuing credit notes where required;
- Liaising with both Customer Services & customers in relation to sales invoice queries;
- Support function to Company Accountant & to Accounts Supervisor
- Generation of month-end reports, as directed by Company Accountant; and
- Assisting Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant in resolving queries with purchase invoices.
- Relevant experiences of working in an accounting or finance environment – within this period experience must include the supervision of staff and preparation of management accounts.
- Experience of purchase ledger processes & Credit Control.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- Good financial analytical skills with a good level of numeracy and ability to problem solve.
- Be self-motivated, focused and have positive, hands-on approach to their work.
